Walanga Muru’s Rising Stars Leadership Camp

The camp is an all-inclusive three-day leadership camp to allow Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander YEAR 10 students the opportunity to experience our university. Successful applications will clearly demonstrate students' leadership skills in the fields of academia, culture and/or community.
Across the three days, students will experience an extensive number of activities that focus on building their leadership skills, Aboriginal Culture, and providing them with a taste of university life. There will also be a late afternoon/night excursion to Sydney CBD. All attending students are expected to get involved in each activity across the duration of the camp.
Students will be supervised by Walanga Muru staff throughout the entire duration of the camp, with night staff staying within the NCIE Redfern accommodation each night.

COST: The three-day camp is run at no cost to the student or their school
DATES: Tuesday 17 - Thursday 19 September 2019
