Engage in a variety of academic and cultural activities that develop language knowledge and critical thinking skills, as well as cultural awareness and understanding.
Improve students' understanding of English grammar and vocabularly while developing new language skills.
Provide practical and dynamic experiences for students to apply their language skills and build their confidence e.g. excursions and penpal exchanges that allow students to connect with Japanese culture firsthand.
Teach students to use Japanese characters including hiragana, katakana and kanji to discuss themselves and their world.
