Year 8 Booknic

We surveyed Year 7, 2021, late last year to gather information about a book they would purchase for our library. We used this information to buy a book for every student in the year group. We wanted to hand the books out at the Year 7 presentation day in Term 4; however, these plans did not go to schedule and instead, we had to wait to celebrate their achievements in Term 1, 2022. 

We presented all of our now Year 8 students with a book that they had chosen and had some time together as a year group to read and enjoy the sunshine with an ice block, courtesy of Mrs Bevin. 

It was great to see so many happy and smiling faces when they received their books during their English lesson and were able to share what they were reading with their friends.
