Celebrating culture and creating connections

As part of Reconciliation Week, our students celebrated their culture with a visit to one of our partner primary schools, Edgeworth Heights Public School (EHPS).

The Yidaki group performed with the EHPS students, and our girls enjoyed some traditional weaving.

It was an excellent opportunity for both schools to celebrate culture, share experiences, and connect. 

Ms Turner, Aboriginal Education Coordinator, organised a range of activities for students during the week around this year's theme "Be Brave. Make Change". An explanatory video by senior students about the history of Reconciliation Week asked students to consider what they can do to support reconciliation.
